Tesla Model Y – Tesla Pickup truck will debut later this year confirms Elon Musk

Tesla Pickup truck will debut in 2019 (Image: TESLA) Tesla has made a number of changes over the past few weeks and is set to roll out a number of new cars. This began with the news that the cheapest Model 3 was being made available to order and prices for the Model S and Model X have also been revised. You can now pick up a top spec Model S for over £40,000 less than older versions of the car. On Sunday Elon Musk also confirmed that the Model Y would be unveiled on March 14th. Related articles Tesla Model Y launch: Model 3-based SUV to be unveiled next week – … Tesla Model S and Model X prices SLASHED – Electric cars are up to …  The Model Y is an electric crossover equivalent to the Model 3. Musk stated that the car will have 10 per cent less range and be 10 per cent more expensive than the Model 3 but full pricing and specs will be confirmed at the event next week. The Tesla CEO also quietly confirmed that the Tesla Pickup truck will be unveiled later this year. One person asked if the ‘Model Y was the truck’ to which the electric car boss replied that the unveil for that car is “later this year.”  While responding to another question on Twitter her shared his enthusiasm for the pickup. “Personally, I’m most excited by the Tesla Truck. “Maybe it will be too futuristic for most people, but I love it,” he said. Previously, in an interview last year with Recode the carmaker stated that the car looked like it comes out of Blade Runner.Tesla Model Y will launch next week (Image: TESLA) “Well I can’t talk about the details, but it’s gonna be like a really futuristic-like cyberpunk, “Blade Runner” pickup truck,” he said. “It’s gonna be awesome, it’s gonna be amazing. “This will be heart-stopping. It stops my heart. It’s like, oh, it’s great.” The Tesla Truck or Pickup Truck is expected to go into production after the Model Y in 2020.
